What is underground, full of waves and sun-kissed all over? An Aussie band. The Jezabels unbutton a chest of vocals in their single Trycolour as they  wrap up tour this month after a hard earned debut album release, Prisoner (independent label). The quartet exudes an avalanche of energy at the core of indie folk-rock.They have held tight to an elusive presence weaving in and out of the public as the “who is that?!” group. You may have caught them in Grey’s Anatomy last month or in Holland? How about in the Under Armour commercial with Brandon Jennings? The group has recently earned the Rolling Stone Australia award for Album of the Year. With surprise radio appearances and an edge for live acts, Hayley Mary, Heather Shannon, Sam Lockwood and Nik Kapoler team up with producer Lachlan Mitchell and mixer Peter Katis on this latest release, echoing Tegan and Sara, Sophia Knapp, undertones of Blonde Redhead and electric wiring of Tori Amos and Melissa Etheridge. Cha-Ching.
