New material from the talented Raury whom we covered just last month on his smash debut “God’s Whisper”. This time around we see a different side of the freshman. His previous track took on more of a folky-pop influence whereas now we find ourselves in a minimal electronic soundscape with a female vocal and finally a radical rap recital delivered by Raury that doesn’t fall into any particular format we are used to hearing.
With such versatility in both genre and skill I can’t help but compare him to the likes of grammy award winning Frank Ocean. It’s no mystery why I’ve gotten word he is in talks with some major players and will soon be yet another 17-year-old unexpected phenom to take on the popular world.
