The Liverpool fem-trio boasts a natural darker folk which softly builds to chanting climaxes. The folky harmonies in there are more pagan/traditional folk, and lead the mind to something that parallels a medieval era. The sound in their single “Shut Eye” is overall dreamy, but danceable. The lady-group claim inspiration from a range of bands like First Aid Kit, Twin Sister and Broadcast – pulling different elements like pop, indie, and psychedelic rock. The ladies have recently finished touring with the likes of St. Vincent, tUnE-yArDs, and Emmy the Great and are looking forward to a promising year in 2013.
