Off the new EP, Nothing More to Say, SOPHIE brings us a melodic and climatic mix of synth-y beats and simplistic fem vocals. Laying low in the limelight of recognition, SOPHIE exposes little about himself as an artist – other than he emerged under Huntleys & Palmers – a London based recording label. “Nothing More to Say” is the epitome of the perfect summer poolside track. With a euphoric and dance-y beat, this single makes it easy to shed some layers, pour yourself a drink, and enjoy the sun. The second feature track “EEEHHH” is a bit more uptempo with a backtune reminiscent of 90s video games – think Zelda. Flipping back and forth between a house-y dance and choppy mix and match beats provide the perfect transition for a day to night summer club jam.
