The irreverent collection Seletti wears Toiletpaper contaminates Pitti Uomo. The visitors of Fortezza da Basso will be lured by peddlers into their original travelling stores.
A red Volvo, an Ape Car and a Tarp-covered van outside and a green Panda inside the Sala della Ronda host the stands where visitors can discover the new items presented by the brand exclusively for this event: the Tote Bags and the “strangely scented” candles – a world preview on the occasion of Pitti – and the rugs, displayed in Europe for the very first time, following Miami Art Week last December.
All the products from the collection, in familiar materials combined with unexpected images and a pop tendency – tin objects and porcelain plates for the table, umbrellas, mirrors, small tables, cushions – are placed alongside plastic household products, Persian rugs, classical chalk statues, upon some of the typical vehicles for “on the road” sale, recalling knife grinders, umbrella sellers and peddlers.
Another seamless execution from the brands’ art director Stefano Seletti.
