Norwegian electronic wonder duo, Royksopp, comprised of Svein Berge and Torbjørn Brundtland, are back for their victory lap fifth and final “traditional” album, ‘The Inevitable Truth’ which will arrive on November 11th via Cherrytree/Interscope.
Over the past decade they have brought their unique and dynamic blend of pop and electronic brilliance to our households not only through commercially successful hit’s like “Eple” and “Remind Me” but their consistent dedication to only the highest quality sound design and constant evolution and reinvention thereof.
“Skulls” and “Monument” featuring Swedish pop princess Robyn come off ‘The Inevitable Truth’ and both pay homage to the caliber of music Royksopp have been bringing from the start. The multi-dimensional fatness of their sound is complimented impeccably by the catchiness of the intricacies that transpire within. Judging by these two massive records the boys are clearly looking to go out with a bang on this project.
Check out the Stian Andersen directed video for “Momument” below which features performances and behind-the-scenes footage from this summer’s Robyn/Röyksopp tour.
