‘What is this I’m feeling?’ How can I feel lucky, pun intended, to have seen something that aired on National TV and was viewed by 30 million other people. Well, I just did.
Smilin’ and stylin’ producer of the year Pharrell was joined on stage at the Grammy’s with legends Daft Punk, Stevie Wonder and Nile Rogers to take us on a musical journey that goes down in the books. Once Get Lucky subsided, the performance dug into a mash-up of a Niles Rodgers’ “Le Freak” and Stevie Wonder’s “Another Star”, while The Robots brought it back with a dispersed mix of “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger”.
We could not be happier here at Trendland to watch Daft Punk sweep at the Grammy’s. Nothing mattered more to us this year in music than “Random Access Memories”.
