Piece of Cake’s recent photo project Popsicle Collection is an intersection of the senses and explores the emotional link between material and how it is perceived. The project plays up the visual aspect of the treats by incorporating unexpected textures, materials and a limited color palette. These are then imposed on the form of a popsicle, making cotton, paper, balloons, and even straws seem palatable. To finish off the appeal, the popsicle sticks offer a mini title for each popsicle to add a unique reading to each piece.
