A Mural Bathed In Light

French artists Ella and Pitr return to Norway, staying near Stavanger, to use the landscape and cityscape as a canvas for their artwork. The artistic duo had already tackled a project in Norway when they created the world’s largest mural for the NuArt Festival. The team is at it again, maybe not with the world’s largest mural, but by creating bigger-than-life artwork. The piece featured below is a wheatpaste onto two German bunkers that were built during World War II and are still scarring the land near Sola beach. Photographer and “aurora chaser” Brian Tallman captured the artwork under a spectacular show of the Northern Lights. Nature’s light show served as an interesting contrast to the man-made bunkers. Ella and Pitr’s mural highlights the landmark’s heart wrenching past.
