Recently, Britpop band Foals’ wowed us with a matrix-y, animated video for their song “My Number”.
The very latest video, for Late Night, off their album Holy Fire!, features a darker, cinematic tone, taking the viewer through a journey of life and death. The emotionally-wrought video was directed by NABIL and features 3 storylines intertwined with shots of the band performing in a supper club. My jaw was on the floor while watching this video, not for the squeamish, but one of the more original and memorable mainstream videos I have seen in awhile.
