The Washington DC natives have released small samplers of sounds, but have received serious playtime with this release on indie wavelengths and independent radios nationwide. Hills and Trails definitely has a fantasy element to it, with an amazing intro that transports you to a futuristic western realm followed by a dance-y beat and hard baseline that sounds like it came straight out of a Quentin Tarantino film. What’s more, the half strained, broken fem vocals add a catchy indie chic to an irresistible melody.
