Mental Bend arrive on the scene with an impressive pop-bending delivery in their debut self titled EP . The Berlin based duo consisting of Hendrik Havekos (drums/keys) and Sissip (vocals) are experimental while completely dedicated to producing seamless work. “Voice, bass and soundscapes are carefully placed into loops and beats which turn into songs that move like the tide but never leave you stranded.” Mental Band takes an organic approach to sound as they carefully craft their tracks, building a niché following throughout Berlin’s underground scene.
We’ll definitely be keeping tabs on their progress as they’re bound to resurface after this first EP. But for the time being we’re left crushing on a few of their stand-outs in “Take My Hand”, “Sleepwalking”, and “Thanks For The Flowers”.
