Beijing-born, New York-based neon artist and photographer Juno Shen, is releasing a collection of three limited production neon art works in a series titled ‘In Your Favor’, based on traditional Chinese symbols of wealth, happiness, foresight, and luck – and its mythology that believes regardless of what the god’s throw your way, your ultimate fate rests in your hands.
Each piece are made to order and comes in a limited edition of 288 each in January 2019 – a combination of hand bent neon, plexiglass, and holographic film which can be plugged in on a shelf, or hung on wall.
So far the lights have already been well received and pre-ordered by the likes of designers Sandy Liang, Yeha Leung, and nail artist Mei Kawajiri and Susie Lau.
