Governor’s Ball: Haim

We all know where New Yorkers will be partying next weekend. Randall’s Island will host Governor’s Ball, the festival with the sickest line up of the year! Kanye West, Animal Collective, Feist... and these are only a few of the headliners. To put you in the mood, every day of this week the music section will be dedicated to someone playing at the fest.

First off is Haim. The LA sister trio will be playing the last day, so try not to waste your energy before. This one is a must watch. Their music is described as “nu-folk–meets–nineties–R&B” and they have been compared to bands such as Fleetwood Mac, quite fair and true. You can also notice a 90’s touch, the decade in which the girls grew up.

Well, in any case you predict that you won’t be able to attend their show, don’t worry, they will be playing  Saturday at Brooklyn Bowl. No excuses to miss them!
