Dinosaur Designs is a fusion of design, art and fashion; a philosophy of color and form. Designers Louise Olsen and Stephen Ormandy have been at the helm since the company began in 1985, creating one of a kind jewelry and homewares in their Sydney studio.

Whether in precious metal or resin, each piece is hand sculpted and passes through many pairs of hands, creating the slight differences that make each one unique. Dinosaur Designs prides itself on quality and craftsmanship; its artisan pieces are designed to last a lifetime.

Dinosaur Designs works to reduce its environmental footprint, minimizing water usage and electricity consumption, and recycling wherever possible. Innovation and experimentation is key to the brand’s evolution, as it continues to source new materials and push boundaries.

Dinosaur Designs pieces are exhibited in pre-eminent galleries around the world. In 2011, Olsen and Ormandy were commissioned to produce a dazzling work, ‘Movement 8’, for the Gallery of Modern Art in Queensland, and in 2013, their first exhibition of sculptural work and furniture, ‘Olsen Ormandy: The Art of Dinosaur Designs’ was exhibited at the prestigious Karen Woodbury Gallery in Melbourne.

Olsen and Ormandy launched their first store in New York over a decade ago (now located at 211 Elizabeth Street, Nolita) and recently opened a store in London’s Soho district. With six stores across Australia, an online boutique that ships from New York and London as well as Sydney, and international stockists, Dinosaur Designs is taking its unique jewelry and homewares to the world.
