Blokoshka Nesting Houses

Blokoshka, a project by Zupagrafika studio in Poland, is a set of 4 nesting blocks, which can be assembled without glue or scissors. The colorful houses constructed out of recycled cardboard are inspired by the post World War II scene in European cities.

The landscape was repopulated by modernist ideas of open urban spaces, minimalist design and social egalitarianism. Drawing inspiration from former Eastern Bloc concrete modernist estates, Blokoshka “Is a playful tour inside the ‘sleeping districts’” and is now available on Zupagrafika’s online store and will be sold in bookstores around Europe.
