In light of songstress Banks’ much anticipated forthcoming debut album, Goddess (via Harvest), the young and budding talent has just release “Beggin For Thread” to hone our musical palate even further.
The LA-based Jillian Banks crosses over into a bit more of mainstream sound with this one, maintaining her mystery and at times malevolent nature. If you’ve followed Banks from the start you may recognize this tune from when she was performing at intimate venues around the LA area. It’s been in diva’s repertoire for a while, now coming equipped with some very nice production value around it but still much the same and certainly nice to see it finally come to fruition on a mass scale.
Look out for her album, Goddess, expected to drop September 5.
