Baauer x Redbull : Searching For Sound [Documentary]

Nobody touches Red Bull right now when it comes to thinking up groundbreaking projects and actually making them happen. The $7.5 billion brand sat their wings down for an earthy journey to naturalize dance music as we know it.

Allegedly, the cyber-genre’s impact on the charts has everyone concerned about the future of musical instrumentation. Red Bull, on the other hand, sought the chance to incorporate Harlem Shakeman, Harry “Baauer” Rodrigues himself, along with Nick Hook – two NYC-based electronic producers to wrap up the unexpected feat of an electronic album deeply based in the most organic forms of sound imaginable. The project was to include live recordings from their travels as a testament that electronic music is not short of real and simply a way to compose.

From the United Arab Emirates to Japan, the brand expensed a fine exploration for sound, filling up countless gigabytes worth of exotic wind-pipes, folkloric drums, animal sounds and life as it happens in the furthest corners of our world watch Baauer introduce us to his unique and innovative pursuit of sonic creation.

Be sure to check out the full story including a sound by sound samples which will be the core of Baauer’s compositions here and if you’d like to actually use the sounds exclusive sample pack is downloadable on Ableton’s site!
