Stepping back into the spotlight is mixmaster Baauer with his remix to AlunaGeorge’s Attracting Flies.

Its easy to be immediately cautious with any Baauer single after the Harlem Shake went youtube uber-viral, but this track will separate the skeptics from the pop culture followers. The English electronic music duo from London, consisting of Aluna Francis (vocals) and George Reid (production) recently were featured on Disclosure’s White Noise single earlier this year. Attracting Flies is taken up a couple notches from its original version – with a speedy climatic dance beat that drops into heavy rhythms and trap sounds. It no doubt sounds like something tweaked and twisted by Baauer – but I think it will be well received amongst the dance and electronic scenes from coast to coast.
