Yolanda Be Cool & DCUP : We No Speak Americano

If you haven’t yet heard “We No Speak Americano” by Yolanda Be Cool and DCUP you are in for a pleasant surprise. The track was released in March 2010 under the Australian label, Sweat It Out, and since that time has effortlessly been making its way into the club/dance scene. The collaboration between Australia natives Yoland Be Cool and DCUP comes nothing short of a latin/afro-beat/house bodymovin’ revelation for all those who are unfamiliar with the potential of Aussie’s when it comes to blowing up the dance floor. Something must be said about the ability of these two to adapt the classic jazz tune Tu Vuo Fa’ L’americano(“You want to be American”) by Italian singer/songwriter Renato Corasone, which was recorded sometime in the 50’s, and amp it up to a whole new level with the soul of the original still in tact. Brilliant! Turn up the volume and enjoy!
