WSJ Magazine’s Innovators of the Year

wsj magazine innovators of the year

What does it take to make WSJ Magazine’s 2013 Innovators of the Year list? Based on the impressive list of accomplishments racked up by this years’ honorees, quite a lot. Take technology innovator Nick D’Aloisio, for example, who invented an app to revolutionize reading on the go, and sold it for $30 million dollars, all before his 18th birthday. Or fashion innovator Pat McGrath, who pioneers beauty trends from the runways to the labs, and sits among top executives at Proctor and Gamble as its global creative director. Furthermore, design innovator Thomas Woltz is single-handedly redefining landscape architecture with his roof deck design for NYC’s $15 billion Hudson Yards development, and music innovators Daft Punk continue to redefine musical genres with their fourth studio album, Random Access Memories.  All honored this past weekend at MoMA, check out in depth profiles of each in the current issue of WSJ Magazine.
