In TrendStore today we are going to Budapest, to see inside the Nanushka Beta Store, where five architecture students (Daniel Balo, Zsofi Dobos, Dora Medveczky, Judit Emese Konopas and Noemi Varga ) have created this awesome temporary fashion store with just a 2000€ budget, a billowed canvas canopy and a sliced firewood floor.
‘We wanted to create a soft, friendly environment for visitors that is in keeping with the design of the clothes. The space achieves a balance between the natural materials and the fabric,’ says Daniel Balo.
‘The light balloons project a very soft and calm light, which is constant and equal.’
250 square metres of fabric was hoisted into place around the walls and ceiling of the shop while the floor was covered with firewood circles.
The whole interior gives the impression of a luxurious tent in the middle of the woods, lighten with inflatable chandeliers by Hungarian manufacturer, Ballon.
