Vogue Italia : The Way of Bizantinum

Contemporary interpretations of glorified civilizations of decadent eras can either make an editorial too good or too bad. “The Way of Byzantium” falls in the first category. Photographer Marco D’ Amico with stylist Marco Grisolia and fashion editor Romina Toscano accomplished a great aesthetic balance between the luxurious extravagance and religious values  that dominated Byzantine civilization, while the minimalistic graphics only highlighted how well Byzantines would fit in 2013.
