The Audo is the last concept space imagined by Danish brand Menu. Together with Norm Architects and Nathan Williams from Kinfolk, they created a space that include Menu head office, a hotel, a concept-store and a cafe/co-working space. A unique experience for the brand to highlight the pieces of its catalog, in different atmospheres.
The hotel occupies a 1918 building in Nordhavn, an industrial part of Copenhagen. The space on the ground-floor is raw and industrial with concrete tile floors and perforated black metal ceilings. They added some velvet armchairs and marbles coffee tables for people to feel cosy. You can also admire a selection of Scandinavian design pieces, sculptures and paintings. The 10 rooms are styled with furniture and accessories from the brand.
Authentic and natural, you can find terracotta walls, oak floors, as well as an earthy color palette, ceramics and sustainable cotton sheets. The warm and serene atmosphere invite to relax and disconnect.
The concept store will offer the possibility to purchase a large selection of what you see at The Audo as well as a curated selection of other design brands.
The Audo is a design experience lived through a human approach of living, working and purchasing.
