Tamarind of Mayfair Poetic Visual Identity by Dutchscot

Tamarind of Mayfair is London’s first Indian Michelin-star restaurant, offering a modern take on the Indian cuisine. Its visual identity by Dutchscot is a reflection of restaurant’s philosophy of “combining and celebrating diverse regional methods of cooking, with the tandoor at the heart of the kitchen“. The branding illustrates a modern and light feel of the new interior and menu.

Airy, aquarelle-like florals were mixed with elegant, gold typography set against mint background. Inspired by the nature of flowers, the studio developed stem-inspired patterns used as part of the layouts and on the menu cover. There is something transient about the visual identity that seems to capture the evanescent pleasure of thoughtful fine dining.
