In search of a modern Mexican food experience, Sonora is a restaurant & bar combining the contemporary with tradition. Created by Abraham Lule, the visual identity was imagined to combine a retro flair with futurism. Geometrical, sharp font was mixed with graphic red and occasional insets of black, white and navy.
The typography was extended horizontally creating an exaggerated, modernist effect. New branding was applied onto a set of promotional materials including business cards, packaging and the menu.
