Men, in the last few years you’ve seen the brogue come back into fashion, and whether you’re into the oxford, derby, or monk style, chances are you’ve seen some really cool iterations of the classic country shoe in the modern context (remember these?). Interestingly enough, the shoe was originally created for outdoor only use, but now it is a proper dress shoe, although great to dress up a casual look. For F/W 2013, Paul Smith did a great longwing, derby style brogue, complete with a camo rubber soul and bronze gradient effect, the type of shoe you’ll want to wear with everything.
