Melitta Baumeister x Nike: the Rift Rocker returns in brown and yellow, the Yukon Sculpted Jacket inflates, and Kembra Pfahler fronts the strangest sportswear of the season.
Melitta Baumeister x Nike is the rare collaboration where the clothes out-weird the shoes, and the shoes are already a lot. The New York designer brings her sculptural, body-bending silhouettes to Nike: inflated puffer coats, tracksuits and printed tees, fronted by performance artist Kembra Pfahler.
The centerpiece is the Yukon Sculpted Jacket, all pointed hood and curved placket, worn here like soft architecture. The Rift Rocker, the split-sole sneaker from the first drop, is shown in a new brown and yellow colorway, with an all-black pair alongside.
