In celebration of their upcoming 100th birthday, Dutch furniture manufacturer Pastoe has commissioned photography duo Scheltens & Abbenes to interpret their celebrated pieces.
Here is a taste of the results. Pass Through will be previewed during the Object Rotterdam fair from February 7-10 and the full series will be shown from February 23rd until June 2nd at the Kunsthal Rotterdam as part of a celebratory exhibition entitled, Like Pastoe. “We are constantly testing things, to see if they are visually true,” the duo told Nowness. “This slowness is important, and working in this way has made us more patient-but we’re also eager, restless and impatient to find out the result.”
