We featured the miniature diorama of Tatsuya Tanaka a few years ago, and we were so relieved to see that he’s continued his Miniature Calendar series, which he first began in 2011. Tatsuya is a master at turning everyday objects, like pasta, phones, fruit and shoes, into the foundation of his miniature worlds.
And during the pandemic, he started to incorporate masks, thermometers and toilet paper. These all-too-familiar objects have been transformed into swimming pools, laundry machines and ski slopes!
Tatsuya’s ingenious creativity is the kind of delightful levity we need and with more than 2 million followers on Instagram, you can enjoy his daily creations directly on your feed!
