Rafael de Cárdenas & Sahra Motalebi ‘AMAZE’ Installation [New York]

Yesterday opened the Visionaire’s latest Cadillac House project: “AMAZE” a collaborative installation by Rafael de Cárdenas / Architecture at Large and Sahra Motalebi. The installation will be on view until June 10th where visitors will have the chance to explore the immersive, multisensory maze – a serpentine labyrinth of discrete spaces buzzing with optical and auditory patterns and illusions.

Together, multidisciplinary designer Rafael de Cárdenas, and visual artist, composer, and vocalist, Sahra Motalebi bridge the otherworldly with the mundane and the drab with the hyper-chromatic. Hidden doorways, shifting perceptions, echoes, and sonic motifs subtly scramble space and time for a vivid experience sure to be memorable.
