This is super cool looking, but what is it? That was my question to the artist, Peter Nencini. “This is a limited edition of boxed artworks, for Partners & Spade’s store. It’s from a running project, called ‘Handwerk’. This translates into German simply more or less as ‘craft’ but for me the implication is more to do with an action and a tactile thinking,” responded Nencini.
“These pieces can be seen as games, as learning tools, as non–definitive artworks subject to intervention and constant revision. I do like the idea of a user adding their own found components and exponentially increasing the permutations,” he continues.
