If you think model Valrija Sestic looks young and fresh-faced, that’s probably because she is. The now 16-year-old model caused controversy during New York fashion week when she fooled designers including Rodarte and Oscar de la Renta into believing she was the mandatory age of 16. Valrija’s agency lied about her youth stating that she met the CFDA’s age requirements, when in fact she was still one month off 16. A bit of an ‘oopsie’ from model agency Model Management, but Valrija defiantly went on to walk for Dolce & Gabbana and Moschino in Milan. There’s clearly no stopping Miss Sestic; walking a grand total of 25 shows for SS’12 – we predict big things for the rebellious young model.
