These porcelain objects are the result of a textural exploration by artist Michal Fargo. In the aim to eliminate the conventional mould from the production of ceramic artworks, Fargo seeks alternative casting materials resulting in these unique surfaces.
Sponge was crafted, cut, shaped and folded to create new vessels to hold the specially-mixed porcelain thus removing the need for pouring points and parting lines. The result is this organic series of works, entitled Else.
