McQ F/W 2012

Personally I have never really been a huge fan of McQ. It has always been a bit too kitsch and young for my taste, and until now, I never felt that Alexander McQueen’s magic really transcended into their diffusion line. This F/W 2012 collection set a whole new tone for McQ. The collection was as strong and sophisticated as we could have hoped. Beautifully embossed velvet paired with embroidered, black lace or fur were the kinds of detailing that stepped up this collection like none other we have seen from McQ. The felt color-blocked outerwear was a also a major highlight for the collection. I can see the outerwear being a huge hit for next season.
