Koh Myung Keun “A Blending Space” Exhibition [Tokyo]

A solo exhibition by Korean visual artist Koh Myung Keun is presented in Tokyo Gallery +BTAP. This show exhibits works done on photographs taken in the Asian cities by Koh. The artist transforms two-dimensional photography into three-dimensional pieces with a unique technique.
Semi-transparent layers with digital prints of photos are constructed as if they were walls of a building. Koh prints the images on transparent film and laminates with clear plastic to form his sculptures.

Based in Seoul, Koh has held solo exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions domestically and internationally. In his other works, Koh also draws inspiration from archaic architecture, representation of the human body and identities.
