Brighton’s oldest coffee house, Redroaster, gets a summer makeover thanks to a Melbourne-based interior design studio, The Stella Collective. The all-day dining venue has adopted the ‘Botanical Punk’ theme. The café has become a minimalist jungle where simple décor is complemented with a ceiling garden of hanging plants. Statuesque marble, elements of brass and gridded tiles add a touch of elegance to the café that marries the world of design and nature.
“Botanical Punk was born out of a necessity of being at the mercy of UK winters when outdoor dining can be brutal. I wanted to bring the outside in, so it can be enjoyed all year round,” said Hana Hakim of The Stella Collective.
