When it came to designing their dream home, Ruth & Richard Rogers opted for space.
They found plenty of it in a Georgian London townhouse, which the seminal architect custom tailored, according to his architectural mantra: “A room is the beginning of a city.” It reflects in vast, brightly lit interior of their home, with acid bright colors and exquisite modern art, which Nowness had the privy of visiting. Richard most notably designed the Centre Pompidou, Lloyd’s of London and The Millennium Dome, and Ruth, an American chef, owns and operated London’s Michelin-starred The River Cafe.
