Hong Kong Airline Pattern by illustrator Victo Ngai

To celebrate the new route from Hong Kong to Vancouver, Hong Kong Airline invited illustrator Victo Ngai to create a series of patterns. The patterns are inspired by local Hong Kong culture-street food, building and tram. The characters added to the elements make the graphics more fun and lively.

Victo Ngai is an award-winning illustrator and also a Forbes 30 under (Art&Style) from 2014. She was born in Hong Kong and currently living in New York City.
Ngai has a very recognisable illustration style, which is intricate and colourful, with strong focus on details. Her work has appeared in books, newspapers, magazines, advertisements, and animations.
