This year’s Art Basel once again congregated some of art’s most brilliant minds, among them multidisciplinary artist and owner of New York Sunshine John Margaritis. Among the myriad of remarkable installations and art pieces spread around Miami, Margaritis’ installation titled “High Tide” featured 300 hand-dyed indigo tee shirts, blurring the fine line and divide between art and streetwear. The 130 foot wave of wooden shelving displayed an edition of indigo t-shirts, each becoming deeper indigo blue as you go deeper. Each shirt is numbered as an edition and sold as such.
