HABITANTE is a multi-purpose development in Mexico aiming to evoke strong ties within newly created communities. Designed by a Mexican Chapter’s Portfolio studio, the visual identity for the project was inspired by building’s architecture.
An original typeface was created in order to reflect the modern spirit of the place. The contrasting palette of soft beige and cobalt blue was translated into a variety of branding materials – from business cards through brochures to general building plans. Geometrical lines reappear on printed bags and promotional cards, referring to the elements of the HABITANTE edifice. “Every person that lives, works or simply visits HABITANTE, feels like part of a unified ecosystem,” claim the designers who succeeded in reflecting a cohesive living universe.
