Neo-Abstract Expressionist artist Frank Holliday is launching tomorrow (02/27) his latest ‘SEE/SAW’ exhibition at the Mucciaccia Gallery in New York. Curated by Carter Ratcliff, the American artist reached fame in New York during the 1970s and 1980s and following the integration of an important painting by Holliday at MoMA.
Mucciaccia will be premiering a 28 canvas narrative of Holliday’s exhibition, where color is an essential component to this work, creating light through a theatrical broad brushstroke technique, suggesting depth and dimension while engaging a visceral response from viewers.
