Fendi S/S 2012

Showing a different side of Italian style—less sexpot, more studious—Karl Lagerfeld mainly stuck to daywear demure this S/S 2012. With the usual Fendi flashes of flesh and fur, of course.

While the majority of the pieces featured box pleats, a-line skirts, and knee-length hems, we did see quite a bit of shoulders on display, revealed through precisely-cut dresses, structured tops, and even blazers.

And as we’ve all come to expect from Fendi fashion shows, touches of fur—bag lining, shoe strap details, and an occasional sleeveless summer coat—made their usual appearance on the runway.
