“Everything Has a Sole” is is a project by Copenhagen-based studio PUTPUT who is known for creating distinctly ambiguous images that challenges the viewer to look twice.Established in 2011 by Stephan Friedli and Ulrik Martin Larsen, PUTPUT is the visual and conceptual meeting of two minds, a collaboration in thought and practice. For this project, the duo were given free reign to develop the artwork for Bianco’s Spring/Summer 2015 campaign. The ‘Everything has a sole’ concept focuses on new iterations of shoes, combining everyday objects and materials with recognizable elements from shoes such as heels and soles to create playful new versions of footwear.
