Last night concluded the 3 day electrifying exhibition of illusionist David Blaine’s Electrified: One Million Volts Away. For 72 hours without interruption, the 39-year-old stood a top a 20ft-high podium at NYC Pier 54, zapped by one million volts of electricity controlled by both remote onlookers and visitors playing music on a computer keyboard posted in front of him. A chainmail suit, wire helmet and orange glasses were the only form of protection from the electricity.
