As part of Art Basel Miami, local concept store Alchemist has partnered with the Parisian fashion label Collette to create a temporary ‘Art-drive-thru’. Inspired by the retro American drive-thrus of the 1950’s, the store allows visitors to drive up to the window an order from a virtual menu of curated design items. Forget fries and malts, the menu includes exclusive pieces made in collaboration with some of the biggest names in art, fashion and design; Zaha Hadid, Jeff Koons, Kenzo, Pharrell Williams, Karl Lagerfeld, and Damien Hirst and many others. The space is the design pinnacle of innovation and originality. Pushing the boundaries of the typical ‘pop-up shop’, the space is the design pinnacle of innovation and originality.
Located in the carpark adjacent to Alchemist on Level 5 of 1111 Lincoln Road, designed by the architectural firm Herzog & de Meuron. It is open 24/7 but only for one week until 8 December.
ONLY IF SPACE…can add in.
’Alchemist founders Erika and Roma, believe; “The collaboration was born out of a mutual respect for what we both do in retail, and an urge to do something out of the box”.
