Botanist Restaurant in Vancouver is a dining destination that reflects the character of the Pacific Northwest Region. Consisting of a bar, dining room, a terrace garden and a champagne lounge, it is very much inspired by botanical elements that founded the basis of restaurant?’s visual identity.
Designed by Glasfurd & Walker, menus resemble botanist journals or scientific manuals. The logo featuring an archway with stairs, was conceived to create an optical illusion and represent a shift of perspective. Custom typefaces, soft color combinations and a touch of gold that comes with the typography – Botanist strikes perfect balance between modernity and inspiration from the past, topped off with a touch of unassuming luxury.
