What does female pleasure look like? Smell like? Taste like? From Georgia O’Keefe to Linder to Prince, it’s a subject that has long been a fascination for artists.
Created to celebrate twenty years since Francois Nars launched the cult Orgasm blusher, the O by Nars is a sensorial playground exploring the very personal art of the climax.
Set in a fictional hotel in London’s Old Truman Brewery, guests are led down a neon-lit corridor that’s part Madonna Justify My Love and part Bad Times at the El Royale, on a mysterious journey to indulge each one of the five senses. Behind each door lies an immersive experience designed to titillate and transport – in glorious shades of Tumblr pink.
The five rooms include the Smell Me Room – complete with perfumed clouds and swings, the Touch Me room which is filled from floor to ceiling with latex balloons, and the Hear Me room offering a surreal filmic experience. A futuristic merry-go-round offers a nostalgic return to childhood (and some pretty fabulous photo opportunities), while pastel hued edible treats including flavoured bubbles, candy floss and meringues are served up in the Eat Me room.
