Though the subject matter is rated mature and the content not suitable for children under 13, a set of movie posters for Best Picture Nominees from the 2014 Academy Awards are speaking a language best understood by “children ages 3 and up.”
Yahoo Movies collaborated with illustration and graphic poster design artist, Old Red Jalopy, to re-imagine the nine most favored film nominees from this years Oscar’s–as LEGOs. Since it’s establishment in 1932, LEGO, a family run company, has maintained its position at the forefront of the toy shelves and popular culture alike, now sweeping animated competitors to the wayside. As far as building an empire goes, even the most recognized faces in cinema could use a LEGO lesson.
