Just released is Prada’s newest fragrance campaign – Candy, directed by none other than Moonrise Kingdom’s Wes Anderson and Roman Coppola. The campaign is composed of shorts starring Parisian beauty Léa Seydoux, whom you may know from her roles in films by Quentin Tarantino, Woody Allen and Catherine Breillat. She stars as lead character Candy, opposite of two very dapper gentlemen who are competing for her attention. Parisian love triangle? YES, PLEASE! If you haven’t noticed yet, French new wave is all the hype right now and I couldn’t be more obsessed. The attention to detail in every scene proves why Wes Anderson is truly a master at his craft. I’m praying this campaign turns into a full blown mini series – even if the clips are only 2 min long.
